Asus ZenBook 3 Review :Techno Tips Review

The ZenBook 3 looks part of a sleek and powerful ultra-portable laptop, with only one mushy Keyboard and Strange Fingerprint Sensor Placement.

+ FOR                                                              - AGAINST
Crystal clear display                                         Weird fingerprint sensor placement
Lightweight and very portable                        A single USB-C port
Reliable fingerprint sensor

As the best ultrabooks are thin, light and more powerful every year, so Asus Zenbook3 is a great example of the progress made by them. Who does not want a laptop that can handle everything you throw away? This is an attractive sales pitch made of the choice of Apple MacBook Air and Dell XPS 13.

And, while these thin and light laptops are definitely more expensive, we think that wherever you go, screams your back to roam around the 15-inch beamothoth.

Thin and lightweight Ultrabooks as Asus ZenBook 3 essentially come up with some compromises. Ports tend to disappear, and battery life can be a failure. Asus ZenBook 3 definitely fits in here, but it's more than aesthetics - we're still looking at the beautiful screen after checking our bags in a frenzy so that we can make sure that we do not have it on a desk Left

Price and Availability :

In the US, Zenbuk 3 starts with the specs tested in this review for $ 1,599 (about £ 1,499, AU $ 1,598). In Australia, the specifics are the same, save for memory. Instead of the same 16GB ship with elsewhere, the Australian model ships with 8 GB, and you can find it for the AU $ 1,995.

However, at this point the Asus ZenBook 3 is approximately one year old, so you should be able to find the updated model for huge discounts on the internet. For stronger hardware, you can find it for less than the new MacBook Air.

Before any discounted price, Genbukku 3 spend less than Apple MacBook, whereas it is more powerful - although the initial price of the Dell XPS 2017 is almost double.

While we were working on this review, we took So Asus ZenBook 3 from Colorado to New York, in which the MacBook Pro was replaced with a touch bar for a short tour. Many times we opened our backpack, checking it three times to make sure that we did not leave it behind.

Only 11.7 mm thin, Zenbook 3 is confusingly light. Considering its size, and considering its metallic housing, it is easy to expect that it is the weight of the weight for it. And, then you pick it up and feel that, at just 2 pounds, it's one of the lightest laptops in there.

Therefore, the ZenBook 3 is similar to the MacBook in this regard. It is very slim, has a full metal chassis and a USB-C port on the right side of the laptop. That port is used to charge the Asus Zenbook 3, to add external goods and everything else you want to connect - to be frustrating, to ensure. On the left is a combo 3.5mm audio jack.

At the top right corner of the touchpad, you can find a fingerprint sensor to sign in to ZenBook 3 using Windows Hello. The placement is weird and can be on the way while dragging his finger in the pad. It will not directly affect the touchpad's functionality, but it otherwise breaks the smooth surface and just feels out of place.

Asus ZenBook 3 Mushy keyboard :

After using applet's butterfly tactics keyboard, we have become accustomed to being able to hold a key lightly and quickly bounce it with minimal effort. As for ZenBook 3, Asus tried to duplicate this similar experience of the keyboard - the last word for the lack of a final word, mushy only.

The keys do not come back quickly, nor do they have an equal level of resistance. In other words, the keys feel soft and the reasons for typing incorrectly before mastering the learning curve.

Asus ZenBook 3 Dongle Life :

Asus Zenbook 3 is impossible without USB-C Hub only to do something as simple as syncing and charging only one USB-C port rocks, then at the same time. Asus sells a lot of things that allow you to charge and connect with multiple factories at Zenbook 3 simultaneously. Still, this is another thing you have to buy and remember.

Since USB-C continues to creep in many products, we use it on a daily basis, but there is a limit, even though not being able to connect more than one item to a laptop at a time.

Intel's 7th generation KB lake i7 processor is powered by anything that we have kept ZenBook 3 during our testing. Multitasking was a non-issue, moving between tabs and apps without any noticeable recession.

Fans, if they needed, were silent and were not disturbed in any way.

Four Harmonic Cardon Speakers are found on ZenBook 3. With the other two speakers found in the lower part of the house, there are two at the top of the device just above the keyboard. They are not the fastest speakers, but they are enough to listen to music or sometimes watch YouTube videos.

Our standard places the Asus ZenBook 3 anywhere in the ballpark of Dell XPS 13 and in some areas ahead of it. For example, Asus Genbukku 3 was excellent in singles and multi-core Geekbench trials, but when it came to 3DMark, it reduced the XPS to 13.

Asus ZenBook 3 (BENCHMARKS) :

Here's how Asus Zenbook 3 Demonstrated

3dmark: SkyDiver: 3,689; Fire Strike: 875; Time Spies: 364

Gebench: 4,279 (single-core); 8,361 (multi-core)

PCMark 8 (Home Test): 2,859 points

Battery Life (Ttr Movie Test): 6 hours and 25 minutes

Asus ZenBook 3 Battery life :

Generally, one of the concessions attached to this size laptop is battery life. Asus puts enough juice through the use of ZenBook 3's battery in 9 hours. However, in our tests, it was found that there is a slight pull of a stretch. Galaxy's Looping Parents disabled on 50% brightness with all the unnecessary features (Bluetooth, location, backlit keyboard etc.), we run our Film Battery Life Test twice to confirm the score of approximately 6 hours and 30 minutes of ZenBook 3.

Moreover, the PCMark Battery Life Test came back heavily over three hours of heavy usage. It is not good with any measurement.

Use of Windows hello to sign in to Windows 10 laptop is convenient and straightforward. Your eyes or fingerprint scanning are popular implementations, after which ZenBook is 3.

Regardless of our complaints of sensor space on ZenBook 3, we have to confirm how accurate, reliable and fast this fingerprint scanner is. After teaching laptops to identify our fingerprint, it was rare that we would ever see an indication that our finger was not recognized.

Usually, after opening the lid and placing a finger on the sensor, this device was only seconds until the only unlock and ready for use.

We Liked :

The display of ZenBook 3 is bright and vivid, even if it is a 1080p screen. Lightweight and portable approach Asas appreciated with its design, especially for those who often travel and require a device to work.

We Disliked :

We want to see a little better battery life than ZenBook 3, but we are grateful that it comes with fast charging technology. On the other hand, the keyboard needs beef.

Asus ZenBook 3 Final Verdict :

After coming into price between MacBook and XPS 13, Asus ZenBook 3 is a serious contender to look for an antique book for any person who can easily handle some more intensive tasks that you can throw at it.

But do not expect batteries all day, and do not be surprised if you want to use an external keyboard.

Everyone said, if you can remove the defects, then the ZenBook 3 is a sleek and powerful laptop which is less than the best.
